We are a non-ACGME Medical Education fellowship focused on helping you be the best educator you can be. With a focused block schedule and weekly education didactics you will be well prepared for wherever your education career takes you. The Fellow will work part time hours at our main site: Brookdale, but opportunities are there for shifts at our non academic sites if you wish.

Fellowship Director: Alanna O'Connell DO, former chief resident, current Brookdale APD. Graduated from 2 year Medical Education Fellowship at Jefferson with additional training in Adult Leadership and Development at Teacher's College Columbia University. Loves to come up with creative educational initiatives, educational games, and support adult growth/development.

Solid Foundation for Teaching all Levels
Do you plan to stay in academics? Our fellowship will lay the groundwork for you to take on future roles in clerkship direction, residency direction, simulation direction, faculty development and ultrasound education

Understanding and Applying Educational Theory
Each week you will meet with the fellowship director and learn about a different branch of educational theory to apply to both clinical and didactic education.

Mentorship
Receive mentorship from all of our amazing core faculty, each of whom can further help you along your chosen career path depending on your focus
